Bertha Elsie  Mitchell (Eastman)
It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Bertha Elsie Mitchell announces her passing. Bertha slipped into the presence of the Lord from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at the age of 75 years.

Bertha is predeceased by her parents – Frederick and Annie Eastman; parents-in-law – Francis and Margaret Mitchell; siblings-in-law – Ivy Claire Mitchell, Bon Mitchell (Jean), Dorothy Noble, Pastor Harvey Mitchell (Vera), Donald Noble, Herbert Janes and Alfreda Mitchell.

Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 55 years, Pastor Raymond C. Mitchell; children – Wavey Noseworthy (Shawn), Marilyn Rideout (John), Glenn Mitchell (Michelle); grandchildren – Sandy (Claudine), Quincy, Kyle (Sierra), Tyler, Andrew, Jasmine, Adam, Darla (Brad), Bonita (Gavin), Erin and Madison; great-grandchildren – Ava, Sandi-Rose, Emma, Lincon and Gia-Rae; brother – Harold Eastman (Joyce); siblings-in-law – Arthur Mitchell (Audrey), Effie Noble (Fred), Lottie Janes, Jessie Thomas (Scott) and Kay Noble, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pastor Gary Bartlett conducted the funeral service from Bayview Pentecostal Tabernacle, Middle Arm, NL on Wednesday, November 14th, 2018. Internment followed from Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Bertha's memory to The Gideon's International, 501 Imperial Rd N, Guelph, ON N1H 6T9.
