It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Bridget Sullivan announces her passing. Bridget passed away from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at the age of 95 years.
Predeceased by her husband – James A. Sullivan; parents – James and Ethel Haas; siblings – Loretta Haas, Mary Ann Seymour (Ambrose), Elizabeth Sullivan (Claude), Patrick Haas, Lawrence Haas and Michael Haas and son-in-law – Gid Regular.
Left with fond and loving memories is her children – Kevin Haas (Kay), Harbour Round, NL, Ellen Sullivan, Port Hardy, BC, Oliveria Kozy (Ed), Flin Flon, MB, Josie Sullivan, Port Hardy, BC, Joe Sullivan (Chris), Blaine, WA, USA, Pius Sullivan (Sandy), Nanaimo, BC, Gord Sullivan (Laura), Brent’s Cove, NL, Glen Sullivan (Tammy), Fort McMurray, AB, Maryanne Regular, St. John’s, NL, Carrie Clarke (Todd), Ming’s Bight, NL, Cecil Sullivan (Carol), Nanaimo, BC and Debbie Domalian (Bobby), Brent’s Cove, NL; grandchildren – Martina, Steve, Jamie, Kevin, Jason, Angie, Kayla, Chakeolynn, Lindsay, Jamie, Darsi, Dayne, Catilyn, Nikita, Tiffany, Chrissie, Kaitlyn, Joey, Alex, Bobby, Gerry, Denna, Brittany and Coalie; a large number of great-grandchildren; siblings – Greg Haas (Jane), Jim Haas (Madeline) and Gordon Haas (Rita); very special sister – Alice Sullivan, as well as a large number of extended family and friends.
A special thank you to all who cared for our Mom during her later years and subsequently her brief illness.
Public Visitation will take place from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 from 7:30PM to 9:00PM, continuing on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 from 10:00AM to 9:00PM.
A Wake Service took place on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 at 7:30PM.
A Rosary Service took place on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at 7:30PM.
Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent’s Cove, NL on Monday, January 28th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment followed from St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brent’s Cove, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Bridget's memory to St. John the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Brent's Cove, NL.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
