To Myrtle and Coalie : So sorry to hear of Cheryl’s passing . I believe if you listen closely , you can still hear the echo of her beautiful laugh in the hallways of Cape John Collegiate . What a lot of people may not know is that as one of Cheryl’s teachers , she would often come to me in private expressing concern for students who were struggling and ask if I would have a chat with them . She was always looking out for others . keeping you in our thoughts in the days ahead .

So sorry to hear of the passing of Cheryl. I met Cheryl back in the '80s following a surgery at the HCS. Her laughter was the best medicine and certainly made my stay at the hospital all the more pleasant! Cheryl had her own medical concerns yet visited other patients to share a good laugh and brighten their day. I also have so many cherished memories of times spent in La Scie. Rest easy my friend. You are so loved. Family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers today and in the days ahead.
