Thinking of Sharon, Gerard, and all Clara’s children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends during this time of loss and grief. I remember her kindness, generosity, understanding, and compassion. We worked together on the elections. Tom would make up the delicious white stew for us. We had some great chats. I always loved spending time with Clara. Condolences from Joe and Lorraine.

Me and Clara were the best of friends growing up, and then me and Tom were close friends with Clara and Tom. We always hung around together when young and had a double wedding in 1958. Then raising children through the years we would get together at one or the other’s home, the four of us, usually on a Sunday night, have a cup of tea and a lunch, probably dried roasted Caplin, homemade bread, partridge berry jam. We celebrated special occasions like weddings and Sharon’s graduation from nursing in Corner Brook. We were always there for each other, friends all our life. Thinking of you all.
