It is with great sorrow that the family of the late Donald George “Don” England announces his passing. Don passed peacefully away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 at the age of 72 years.

Donald is predeceased by his parents - George & Flossie England; parent-in-law - Willis & Levinia Welshman; sisters - Myrtle Matthews & Ivy Austin; nephew - Boyd Matthews.

Left with many loving memories is his wife of 52 years - Hazel May, Middle Arm, NL; children - Georgie England (Kim), English Harbour West, NL, Bernice England, Middle Arm, NL, Betha Kelly (Sidney), Burlington, NL and Garland England; grandchildren - Justin Kelly (Stephanie); great grandson - Blake Kelley; siblings - Annie Lush (Carl) and Gary England (Gail); siblings-in-law - Fred Welshman (Maisie), Ernest Welshman (Gertie), Jeanette Welshman, Hayward Austin and Alex Matthews as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The England family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre for their loving care and attention in previous days.

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Public Visitation. Pastor Gary Bartlett conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Bayview Pentecostal Tabernacle, Middle Arm, NL. Interment followed at Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL.

We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Don’s memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the England family.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
