Ernest Garfield Leander  Perry
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Ernest Perry announces his passing. Ernest passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 at the age of 86 years.

Predeceased by his parents – Joseph and Julia Perry; parents-in-law – Leander and Agnes Lush; son-in-law – Chesley Kelly; siblings – Lily Jane Starkes, Mary Ellen Matthews, Allan Perry (Martha), Wesley Perry, Eric Perry and George Perry; sister-in-law – Blanche Kelly (Sidney).

Left with fond and loving memories is his wife of 46 years, Jessie Perry; daughters – Wanda Hurley (Roderick) and Sonya Mills (Sheldon); step-children – Louise Kelly (Rick Kennedy), Leander Saunders, Madeline Saunders and Harold Saunders (Natasha Lewis); grandchildren – Emily Hurley, Benjamin Hurley, Luke Hurley, Shauna Mills, Leslie Ann Mills, Raymond Hewlett (Rebecca), Stephen Hewlett (Kelly), Danielle Hewlett, Travis Saunders (Carla), Patrick Saunders (Maria), Jessica Saunders, Julia Saunders, Jeffrey Kelly; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings-in-law – Ruby Perry, George Lush (Olive), Winnie Newbury (Harvey), Ivy Janes (Neil), Cecil Lush (Betty-Lou), Pansy Mitchell (Guy), Barbara Newbury (Neil), Bessie Durdle (Pastor Ricardo Durdle), Harvey Lush (Nola), Frank Lush (Debra), as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Pastor Craig Lane conducted the Funeral Service from Faith Pentecostal Church, Burlington, NL, on Friday, February 16th, 2018 at 11:00AM. Interment followed at the Perry's Cove Community Cemetery, Burlington, NL.

Pallbearers were Sheldon Mills, Roderick Hurley, Travis Saunders, Patrick Saunders, Ben Hurley and Luke Hurley.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ernest's memory to the Emergency Relief Committee, General Delivery, Burlington, NL A0K 1S0.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL, A0K 1B0.
