It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Ford Roy Taylor announces his passing. Ford passed peacefully away from the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at the age of 66 years.
Ford is predeceased by his parents – Harold and Daisy Taylor; parents-in-law – Wesley and Alfreda Smith; siblings – Calvin Taylor, Jeanetta Bennett, Olive Rodrigue (Emilien) and Leona Pinsent.
Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 42 years Trudy; sons – Ian Taylor (Shelley), Trevor Taylor (Penny) and Zack Taylor; grandchildren – Sydney, Nate, Isabella and Cruz; siblings – Cyril Taylor, Clayton Taylor (Elsie), Bruce Taylor (Vera), Dawson Taylor (Ruth), Derrick Taylor (Brenda), Rose Peckman (Gordon), Alma Pittman (Ivan), Maisie Locke (Hubert) and Ada Paddock (Don); siblings-in-law – Ivan Smith (Bernice), Ralph Smith (Kathy), Gail Gray (Woodrow), Ernie Smith (Marina), Pastor Freeman Bennett, Lloyd Pinsent and Gloria Taylor, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pastor Henry Sansome conducted the Funeral Service from Miles Cove Pentecostal Church, Miles Cove, NL on Sunday, April 29th, 2018. Interment followed from Redemption Pentecostal Cemetery, Port Anson, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted.
Pallbearers are Melvin Morey, Joe Morey, Roger Morey, Ernie Smith, Dawson Taylor, Woodrow Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Sydney Taylor and Nate Taylor.
