Obituary

It is with deep sadness, yet hopeful hearts, that the family of the late Frank Sacrey announces his passing. Frank was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Saviour at the Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL on Tuesday, April 14th, 2020 at the age of 87 years. Frank was a faithful member of Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL for many years.

Predeceased by his parents - Williiam & Mary Sacrey; parents-in-law - Job & Mary Burton; siblings - Augustus Sacrey, Gilbert Sacrey (Herma) and Lucy Warrick (Raymond); siblings-in-law - Ruby Grace Regular (John), Elijah Burton (Bridget), Frank Burton (Joan), Peter Burton, Harry Burton, Gilbert Brent, Lloyd Norman and Shirley Sacrey and nephew - Pastor Clouston Regular.

Left with a lifetime of incredible memories is his wife of 64 years - Margaret Sacrey; daughter - Karen Blackler (Kurt); special niece - Christine Saunders (Neil); siblings - Clarence Sacrey (Margaret), Melissa Parsons (Carl), Ivy Burton, Mabel Brent and Charlie Sacrey; siblings-in-law - Shirley Norman, Allan Simms and Annie Sacrey as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 Global Pandemic, the Public Health Advisory and associated restrictions, we regret to announce that there will be no Visitation or Funeral Service. Pastor Jeffrey E. White conducted an Immediate Family Graveside Service at Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL on April 16th, 2020. A Celebration of Life Service is planned to take place once restrictions are lifted.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Frank's memory to Trinity Pentecostal Church, P.O. Box 28, Baie Verte, NL A0K 1B0.

We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Frank's memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Sacrey family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Springdale Retirement Centre for their loving care. Dad always appreciated the staff immensely and had a great fondness for many of them. A heartfelt thank you also extended to Dr. Young, Dr. Qasha, nurses, management and staff of the Green Bay Health Centre, especially Jessica Toms, Shauna Warford and Judy Warr for their exceptional care during Dad’s final days. Also, a heart full of appreciation to Foster Funeral Home for their exceptional service, especially during these difficult days.

“In mansions of glory and endless delight, I'll ever adore thee in heaven so bright; I'll sing with the glittering crown on my brow - If ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now!

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

Surprised to hear of Uncle Frank’s passing
Didn’t hear until yesterday. Have many good memories of him. A man who was so excited about his salvation and always eager to share of his love for his Saviour. He was an inspiration to me and I know he will be missed by all who met him.He is now singing with the saints and I’m looking forward to meeting him again.

Margaret and Family

I was very saddened to hear of Frank's passing. He was a very kind and generous friend.
I lived next door to Frank on Vista Place and he checked on me everyday. He made sure my step was cleared of snow, my garbage taken to the bin, and that I had a secure ride to church every Sunday. My prayers and thoughts are with you Margaret as I'm sure he is dearly missed.

To: Margaret and family and extended families.

We are sorry to hear of Frank's passing, Frank was a great man and a wonderful friend. I have fond memories of Frank growing up in Pacquet. We worked together in early 1960 to mid 1970. Our time in Leaf Rapids was a blast we have great memories of four families of us spending time together. Frank and Margaret, the Head family, the Elliott family and Our family, they were great times. We are thinking of you all and keeping you in our prayers.
God bless
Ralph and Louise
