Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Gordon James Greenham announces his passing. Gordon passed away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, December 13th, 2019 at the age of 71 years.

Gordon is predeceased by his parents - Maxwell & Ethel Greenham; parents-in-law - Edgar & Ethel Elliott; siblings - baby Greenham and Giddus Greenham and sister-in-law - Sandra Notley.

Left to cherish a lifetime of wonderful memories is his wife of 41 years - Juanita Greenham, Pacquet, NL; daughters - Laura Mitchell (Floyd), Lloydminster, SK, Lorna Abbott (Jonathan), Fort McMurray, AB and Laurel Foster (Leon), Baie Verte, NL; grandchildren - Holly Norman (Patrick), Dylan Mitchell, Lily Foster, Alexis Abbott, Jackson Abbott, Emily Foster; great granddaughter - Abagail Norman; brother - Gerald Greenham (Connie) and Guy Greenham (Pamela); brothers-in-law - Pastor Jeffrey Elliott (Janet) and Shawn Elliott (Tia) and siblings-in-law - Wilfred Notley and Valerie Greenham as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and many friends.

Special thanks extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre and home-care worker, Tia Elliott for their loving care during these days. Heartfelt thanks also extended to our church family at Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly in Pacquet for their love and prayers.

Pastor Jeffrey Elliott, assisted by Pastor Frank & Sandra Newbury, conducted the Funeral Service from Harvest Time Pentecostal Assembly, Pacquet, NL on Monday, December 16th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment followed from Harvest Time Pentecostal Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Gordon’s memory to the Canadian Parkinson’s Society.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.

We are sorry to hear of Gord passing, I have many fond memories of Gord when I lived at home in Pacquet. Gord was quite the hockey player in his younger days. Hold unto your memories of him as a wonder husband, dad, grandfather, brother and a friend to all who knew him. Be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
