Condolence From: Tracey Comeau, Toronto, Ontario
Condolence: Dear Don, Verna and family,

Please accept my heartfelt condolences on Jean's passing. Somehow, I always felt like I'd be invited to her 100th birthday one day.

I have so many memories of our evening visits in Seal Cove, lots of tea, lunches and conversation until the wee hours of the morning; we were both night owls. Although years apart in age, Jean and I became good friends. I was never lonely with Jean close at hand.

Certainly our shared love for our pets brought hours of entertainment; lots of walks with Jean and Mike, and me and Millie, and then later she showered Gunner and Ziva with love...and a pocket full of Vienna sausage and cheese!! They adored Jean !!

Miles did not separate friendship for Jean. Following my move back to Toronto over five years ago, she maintained contact and never failed to call and have a chat, it was like I never left. She always shared her love of God, her husband and her children and grandchildren, every time we spoke. She was so proud of all of you.
She was also very confident in her belief that she would one day be in heaven with the Lord and all those she loved...and we would all be reunited one day.

I'm so happy I had those years in Seal Cove and the opportunity to know Jean...she will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you,
Tracey Comeau

Find comfort today in knowing that she is Promoted to Glory and that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord whom she loved and served for so many years. Condolence From: Ralph and Louise Gillingham
Condolence: To: Donald, Verna and families

We are sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a great lady and spent her life serving her Lord. We know she was a great mom and I'm sure a wonderful grandmother as well. It tells how old we are, Don and Verna were just kids when we left home. We have fond memories of your mom and dad when they would always come to visit us when we lived in Seal Cove and Baie Verte. Be assured that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time and in the days ahead. We look forward to that great reunion when God calls us home.
