It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Joseph Michael Hurley announces his sudden passing. Joseph passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Heath Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Friday, August 16th, 2019 at the age of 68 years.
Joseph is predeceased by his baby daughter – Mary Ellen Hurley; parents - Anthony and Mary Ellen Hurley; brothers– John and Walter; sisters – Mary “Deuce” and Francine; parents-in-law - Ronald and Mary Lee; siblings-in-law – Donna, Margaret and Finton.
Left with many fond and loving memories is his wife of 43 years – Rosemary Hurley, Baie Verte, NL; sons – Robert Hurley (Nancy), Baie Verte, NL, Jim Hurley (Chasity), Baie Verte, NL and Jeffrey Hurley (Susan), Labrador City, NL; grandchildren – Robert, Daniel, Bobby, Michael and Tanya Lee; siblings – Richard (Jackie), Bill (Francis), Ella (Carmen) and Kathleen (Dennis); siblings-in-law – Millie, Edward, Linda (Bart), Anita (Ed), Gerard (Sheila), George (Vanessa) and Jack (Carolyn) as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Baie Verte, NL on Monday, August 19th, 2019. Interment followed from St. Pius X Roman Catholic Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
