Due to inclement weather, the Mass of Christian Burial for the late Leonard Breen will now take place on Friday, November 30th, 2018 at 11:00AM from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Coachman’s Cove.
On behalf of Joan, Tracey and the extended Breen family, we appreciate your understanding.

It is with profound sadness that the family of the late Leonard Breen announces his passing. Leonard passed away from Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, November 25th, 2018 at the age of 82 years.

Leonard is predeceased by his wife -Elizabeth Breen; son – Kenneth Breen; parents – James & Mary Breen; parents-in-law – Abraham & Bride Walsh; siblings – Raymond Breen, William Breen (Mary), Lawrence Breen; siblings-in-law - Douglas Walsh, Catherine Walsh, Louise Walsh, Abraham Walsh, Madeline Drover, Lawrence Walsh, Patrick Walsh (Minnie) and Daniel Hoven.

Left with many wonderful memories are his daughters – Joan Breen, Baie Verte, NL and Tracey Clarke (Stephen), Baie Verte, NL; grandchildren – Curtis Clarke and Stephanie Clarke (Pascal); special buddy – Max; siblings – Martin Breen Sr. (Mildred), Ellen Matthews, Theresa Kennedy (Nicholas) and Betty England (Stu); siblings-in-law – Joseph Walsh, Phyllis Hoven, Alice Walsh (Jim), Alphonsus Walsh (Rose), Gerry Walsh (Linda), Margaret Breen, Kathleen Walsh, Gertrude Walsh, Michael Drover and Mary Walsh as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A special thank you is extended to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre – Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL.

Father Camillus Ekedobe conducted the Mass of Christian Burial from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, Coachman’s Cove, NL on Friday, November 30th, 2018. Interment followed from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Coachman’s Cove, NL.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Leonard’s memory to Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL A0K 1B0.
