Obituary for Lynette Joy (Paddock) Holmes

It is with immense sorrow that the family of the late Lynette Joy (Paddock) Holmes announces her tragic passing. Lynette slipped suddenly into the arms of Jesus at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, New Brunswick on Sunday, November 15th, 2020 at the age of 41 years.

Predeceased by her precious babies; her father-in-law - David Holmes; grandparents - Cyril Williams and John & Alfreda Paddock and a favourite uncle - William “Billy” Paddock.

Left with a lifetime of incredible memories is her husband of 17 years - Shawn; her precious children - Karter, Kaison, Eava and Eden; parents - Pastors Robert & Geraldine Paddock; siblings - Robert Paddock Jr. (Laurie Ann), Pastor Richard Paddock (Cindy), Pastor Lenora Rogers (Pastor Shannon) and Roy Paddock; grandmother - Lulu Williams; mother-in-law - Marjorie Holmes; sister-in-law - Roxanne Holmes and grandparents-in-law - Lloyd & Louise Brett as well as a large circle of many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and innumerable friends.

Public Visitation took place at Parson’s Funeral Home, 63 Main Street, Deer Lake, NL on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 from 7:00-9:00PM and Sunday, November 22nd, 2020 from 2:00-4:00PM, following specific guidelines related to the global pandemic and associated restrictions.

Pastors Jeffrey & Andrea White, assisted by Pastor Richard Paddock conducted a Private Family Funeral Service at Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, 45 Bennett Avenue, Deer Lake, NL. Interment followed at the Pentecostal Section of the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynette's memory to Renewed Hope Youth Ministry, 1411 Loch Lomond Road, Saint John, NB E2J 1Z7 or Canadian Diabetes Association, 860 Topsail Road, Mount Pearl, NL A1N 3W4.

We encourage extended family and friends to share condolences, memories and/or photos to Lynette’s memorial wall, available on our website. All items will be documented and displayed in our personalized guestbook and presented to the Holmes and Paddock family.
