Obituary for Margaret Sacrey (Burton)

It is with deep sadness, yet hopeful hearts, that the family of the late Margaret Sacrey announces her passing. Margaret was ushered into the presence of her Lord and Saviour at the Valley Vista Senior's Complex, Springdale, NL on Tuesday, February 2nd, 2021 at the age of 84 years. Margaret was a faithful member of Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL for many years.

Predeceased by her parents – Eli & Mary Burton; parents-in-law – William & Mary Sacrey; siblings - Ruby Grace Regular (John), Elijah Burton (Bridget), Frank Burton (Joan), Peter Burton; siblings-in-law - Augustus Sacrey, Gilbert Sacrey (Herma) and Lucy Warrick (Raymond), Gilbert Brent, Harry Burton, Lloyd Norman and Shirley Sacrey and nephew - Pastor Clouston Regular.

Left with fond and loving memories is her daughter - Karen Blackler (Kurt); special niece - Christine Saunders (Neil); siblings-in-law - Clarence Sacrey (Margaret), Melissa Parsons (Carl), Ivy Burton, Mabel Brent, Charlie Sacrey, Shirley Norman, Allan Simms (Aggie) and Annie Sacrey as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family and friends.

Public Visitation took place at Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL on Friday, February 5th, 2021 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM, following specific guidelines pertaining to the global pandemic and associated restrictions.

Pastor Jeffrey White, assisted by Pastor Jamie Rowsell conducted a Private Family Celebration of Life Service for both Margaret & Frank at Trinity Pentecostal Church, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at 11:00AM. Interment followed at Trinity Pentecostal Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted.

"We'll walk hand in hand throughout the Promised Land, down the streets made with purest of gold. I'm so glad we've made the choice, Jesus Christ is still the Lord, signed with love, I'll be looking for you!"

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
