It is with deep sadness that the family of the late Pierce William "Jack" Noseworthy announces his passing. Pierce slipped peacefully into the presence of the Lord from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Saturday, January 12th, 2019 at the age of 94 years.
Predeceased by his parents - Frederick & Lucretica Noseworthy; baby son - William; siblings - Mary Rideout, Muriel Noble, Garfield Noseworthy, Warrick Noseworthy and Ivy Noseworthy; brother-in-law - Arthur Dolland and special friend - Basil England.
Left with fond and loving memories is his wife – Doris; children- Fred (Bernice) Noseworthy, Springdale, NL, Ivy (Harry) Adams, Loon Pond, NL, Roger (Barbara) Noseworthy, Middle Arm, NL and Linda (Hughie) England, St. Andre LeBlanc, NB; grandchildren - Danny (Lori), Sylvia (Ian), Kimberly (Tyson), Troy (Janice), Paul (Jess), Patrick (Felicia), Jenny (Danny) and Jenine (Roy); great-grandchildren - Chelsea, Timothy, Kendyl, Hailey, Miley, Brie, Presley and Jack; great-great-grandson – Wyatt: brother - Raymond Noseworthy (Betty): caregivers – Vonnie and Rhoda, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Pastor Gary & Melinda Bartlett conducted the Funeral Service from Bayview Pentecostal Tabernacle, Middle Arm, NL on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019. Interment followed from Oceanview Interfaith Cemetery, Middle Arm, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Pierce's memory to the Janeway Children's Hospital, St. John's, NL.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
