It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Raymond "Ray" Harvey Wimbleton announces his passing. Ray passed away suddenly from the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Thursday, November 8th, 2018 at the age of 65 years.
Ray is predeceased by his parents – Harvey and Evelyn Wimbleton.
Left with a lifetime of wonderful memories is his wife of 45 years, Ivy; son – Ray Jr. (Junior), Baie Verte, NL; grandchildren – Chelsea Wimbleton (Anthony Saunders), Middle Arm, NL and Noah Wimbleton (Annabelle Morey), Baie Verte, NL; siblings – Marion Wimbleton, Nina Wimbleton, Vivian Wimbleton (Tom Harvyl), Elaine Jacobs (Bob), Dave Wimbleton (Annette) and Tim Wimbleton (Sharon); nieces and nephews – Amy, Joey, Michael, Mark, Jenny, Matthew, Amie-Marie, Ryan, Isabelle and Isaac; special nephew – Robbie Jacobs, as well as a circle great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and innumerable friends.
Reverend Shirley Noseworthy conducted the funeral service from Bethany United Church, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, November 11th, 2018. Interment followed from Bethany United Church Cemetery, Baie Verte, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted, or donations may be made in Ray’s memory to The Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation.
