Obituary for Thomas Vincent "Tom" Cole

Thomas Vincent "Tom"  Cole
It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Thomas “Tom” Vincent Cole announces his passing. Tom passed away from the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Monday, July 23rd, 2018 at the age of 76 years.

Tom is predeceased by his parents – Cecil & Verena Cole; parents-in-law – Roland & Joyce Sacrey; siblings – Arnold Cole, Clarence Cole, Reginald Cole & Clarrie Cole; siblings-in-law – Claude Sacrey, Earl Babb, Raymond Perry. Clarence Whalen, Beatrice Atkinson; niece – Dawn Atkinson.

Left to cherish many memories is his wife of 55 years Vivian; children – Todd Cole (Jacki), Tobie Cole (Paula), Mona Gill (Wayde) & Shelley Cassell (Lawrence); grandchildren – Meghan Norman (Josh), Thomas Gill, Chloe Cassell & Avery Cassell; sisters – Florence Sacrey (Mervin), Virginia Babb & Mabel Perry; siblings-in-law – Tony Sacrey (Juanita), Pratt Sacrey (Violet), Calvin Sacrey (Pamela), Kevin Sacrey (Brenda), Vera Whalen, Olive Sacrey & James Atkinson.

Reverend Sidney Newbury, assisted by Pastor Keith Lane conducted the Funeral Service from First United Church, Pacquet, NL on Friday, July 27th, 2018. Interment followed from the First United Church Cemetery, Pacquet, NL.

Pallbearers were Todd Cole, Calvin Sacrey, Pratt Sacrey, Tony Sacrey, Mervin Sacrey and Vincent Sacrey.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, 835 Topsail Road, Unit 107, Mount Pearl, NL, A1N 3J6.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
