It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Willie Claud Gray announces his passing. Willie passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord from the Copper Crescent Long Term Care Facility, Baie Verte, NL on Sunday, December 2nd, 2018 at the age of 73 years.
Predeceased by his father - Clarence Gray; parents-in-law Edgar and Edith Pardy; brother - Manual Gray (Viola); sister-in-law - Lilly Giles; and nephews - Roger Foster and Barry Giles.
Willie will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Ivy and his children Bradley (Karen), Edmonton, AB, Deanna (Wade), Fort McMurray, AB, Darrell (Alisha), Fort McMurray, AB, Colleen (Jeff), Pennfield, NB, Trina (Jamie), Fort McMurray, AB, and Christopher (Ashley), St. John’s, NL; grandchildren - Cameron, Chantal, Logan, Abby, Carter, Landon, Jameson and Dawson; mother - Gertie Gray; siblings - Shirley Gray (Robert), Randolph Gray (Pauline), Hayward Gray (Donna), Cluney Gray (Wavey), Betty Osborne (Malcolm), Velma Morey (Harvey), Dorthy Foster (Augustus), Scott Gray (Norma), Rick Gray (Sharon) and Diane Martin; siblings-in-law - Randolph Pardy (Audrey), Josie Pardy (Tony), Betty LeDrew (Nelson), Phyllis Noseworthy (Shawn), Bruce Pardy (Virtue), Elvis Pardy (Kathy), Mona Corbett (Bill), Marlene Gray (John) and Micheal Giles.
Pastor Norman & Shirley Slade conducted the Funeral Service from Zion Pentecostal Church, Shoe Cove, NL, on Thursday, December 6th, 2018. Interment followed from Zion Pentecostal Cemetery, Shoe Cove, NL.
